Our 4th grade students have been doing lots of fun learning. Last week, students were able to explore and learn about water at the 2014 Water Festival. We learned so many interesting facts about water. Ask your student what they learned!
Yesterday, students enjoyed a beautiful presentation about Thailand. University Schools hosts several students from Thailand each school year. What a great opportunity to learn about another culture! Many bulldog families have invited a high school student from Thailand to live with them for a few months. Perhaps when your 4th grader is in high school your family may consider being a “host family”.
Tomorrow evening is our school carnival. We’ve had a lot of fun preparing our classroom games, by tracing members of administration. Students can play many fun games including “Pin the tie on Mr. M.” and “Pin the scarf on Mrs. Riggs”.
Our “Zoo Basket” turned out great. Thank you to all of the families who donated to make our classroom basket something special. Baskets will be on display in the library for families to enter the raffle and try to win.
