Our day at Miller Farms was full of brand new learning opportunities. Â Some students discovered that vegetables grow underground, as they dug up carrots. Â Other students had never seen a pumpkin growing on the vine. Â Most of our produce purchases occur at the grocery store. Â We tend to forget that the clean potatoes were in fact, at one point, covered in dirt.
