On Wednesday our students participated in a planetarium experience, called the Star Lab. Â Jolene Adams, one of our awesome high school science teachers, shared her knowledge of constellations and the night sky. Â Students were encouraged to spend a weekend or a few days this summer, avoiding all technology and screens, to explore the outdoors and use their imagination as they look up at the night sky.
After leaving the Star Lab, students were invited to tour a “Solar System Museum” that was created by high school students. Â Our 4th graders received tour guides (high school students) as they explored the various experiments and activities. Â What a spectacular experience that makes our K-12 campus at University Schools unique and wonderful.
