We’ve been learning about Colorado Geography. Rivers, mountains and plains, oh my!
To conclude our unit on Colorado Geography we paired up with the students from Nikki Bridgmon’s class to create physical maps of Colorado. Salt dough maps were formed on our first day together, with physical mountains, rivers and even interstates carved into the dough.
On our second day students painted specific colors onto their maps based on the key they had created. Our maps are a great way to review all that we have learned!
