Harriet the Spy

We recently finished reading Harriet the Spy by Louise Fitzhugh, as a class.  Today students were able to compare the book to the movie.

During Harriet the Spy, Harriet an 11 year old girl brings a notebook with her everywhere she goes.  She writes continuously and records observations about people and life.

For a fun spring break activity use a notebook and do some “Spy Writing”.  What did you observe?  Do you want to be a spy like Harriet?
