Back to School in September

We are almost “Back to School”.  Just a few more days until Tuesday, September 3rd.  University Schools has so many changes this school year:

• a brand new middle school building on our K-12 campus
• dozens of new teachers
• hundreds of new students and families
• single grade level classrooms, like our 4th grade class
• a new food court (cafeteria)
• a press box for our football team

Many more new and exciting changes will occur this school year.  We even have a new principal, Michael Mazurana.  (His email address is mmazurana@universityschools.com)

Our class website is a way to share pictures and activities.  Please subscribe to the RSS feed (by clicking on the orange hot air balloon).  Sign up your email address to receive an email anytime a new post is added to our website.

The website also has many important dates and information.  Please click through the various options and discover some of the resources available.  The website is especially helpful for documents like our weekly schedule, or even a printable Reading Log, incase your student misplaces their monthly Reading Log.

We are going to have a great school year.  Please stay connected this year through the website.  We have so many fantastic learning opportunities.  Try to get some extra sleep and get ready for the first day of school.
