First, students thought of the facts they had researched and learned about their planet. Then they composed a letter to their planet. When the groups finished writing they designed a postcard.
The postcards that students created are on display in the hallway. You can check out a variety of student learning while waiting for conferences at the beginning of March. (I plan on finalizing the conference schedule this week.) Don’t forget to ask your child which planet group they were in. What do they know about that planet?
