The 4th grade students started our week on Tuesday, April 22 – Earth Day.
We only have 15 minutes between recess and Spanish class on Tuesdays, so we went outside for Earth Day. Â Students picked up trash behind our school near the nature area/retention pond.
On Thursday we attended a wonderful play Jackie & Me at UNC. Â Students had a Q & A time to ask questions at the end of the play. Â Also, many students got autographs from the actors. (The actor playing “Flip” and Kanon below.)
Friday concludes our CMAS testing. Â All of the students should be proud of their hard work and efforts.
On Monday students are taking the STAR Reading test and on Tuesday we are scheduled to take the STAR Math test. Â Please encourage your student to take their time and do their best. Â It feels good to have success! Â Let’s end our school year strong with kids ready to be 5th graders.
